Theater

Being involved with theater has opened my eyes to many aspects the of art and creativity. Creativity can be spontaneous or can develop meticulously. There's no one way creativity happens and that's the beauty of it.

 I'm involved with two theater projects. It's both exciting and challenging. I have met some wonderful people in the process. I am writing my story about my flying experiences.  It could make for some good theater.

After over two years of renovations, the Quad Cinema will reopens this Friday, April 14th.

Keep Old Writings

From time to time I read some of the stories and poems I wrote years before. It's interesting how my perspective changed about many things. It also shows me how much my writing has changed, certainly for the better. You could say that my writing has matured.

It's good to keep old writings because it can be a reference point for where you are currently. I remember reviewing some old writing of mine going back to the late 1990s. I was shocked to see that even that far back I was struggling with gender issues. THAT was an eye opener for me. I've even uncovered some gems that I missed. 

I have a canister of old journals and notebooks. Possibly I could type them over and create a book. I have many life experiences to share. I may have underestimated the amount of writing done. There's certainly more writings to come.
