Edgar AllanPoe Lived Here
Every once in a while I enjoy researching some famous spots in the New York City. Some may not exist now but at one were the impetus of many artists and writers greatest works.
Edgar Allan Poe lived on the Brennan Farm from June,1844 until some time in January, 1845. The farm was located on 84th Street and St. Nicholas Boulevard (n/k/a Broadway). It was here that he wrote his famous poem "The Raven".
