INTRODUCTIONS TO UNIQUE WRITERS

 

These two books introduced me two authors with their own distinct style. The first book introduced me to the spontaneous writing style of Jack Kerouac. Romeo and Juliet helped navigate the high style English of Shakespeare's era. I have read seven of Kerouac's books and thirteen by Shakespeare.

At first, it was difficult for me. Eventually I gained a better comprehension of their style of writing. While I got to understand who Kerouac was as a person, Shakespeare was difficult. He's the only person that the more I read about him the less I knew about him as a person. Maybe it was meant to be.
