POETRY MARATHON AT ST. MARK CHURCH IN-THE BOWERY

The annual New Year's Day Marathon Benefit Reading will be here before you know it. It's sponsored by the Poetry Project at St, Mark's in-the-Bowery on East 10th Street and 2nd Avenue in the East Village. I have attended for over a decade and enjoy the many varieties of poetry and the spoken word.

In the rear of the church books and food are for sale. I have chatted with other artists and enjoy listening to their thoughts on literature. Seems that more artists are coming to New York from all over the world. The event will take place on January 1st from 2 PM to 2AM. Tickets are sold at the door. Look forward to seeing you there.
