No Limits On Creativity

What I love about the arts is that there's no limits on creativity. I have personally seen people's change right before my eyes when he/she creates something from their own imagination.

Last week I performed with a group of about twenty transgender and non conforming people of all ages at the Brick Theater in Brooklyn. The name of the play was 'Resistance'.  I was the second of involvement with the Transgenerational Theater Project. It was also our second performance in two months.

Each person contributed something to the project. We were co-creators along with our wonderful facilitators. The public response was amazing. Many were surprised that we as trans and non conforming produced a quality piece. I would love to bring something like this to schools, colleges, prisons, nursing homes, hospitals, churches, other public venues like the Brick.

This is my way of educating the public in a non traditional setting about transgender people are about. We have dreams, intelligence, creativity, and love.
