Big Sur


Some of you have guessed that I'm a fan of Jack Kerouac. The current reading is a chronicle of Kerouac time spent in the wilds of California's Big Sur. I did some research on the Big Sur and was fascinated by Kerouac's description of where he was. 

I am thinking about journey west next year and travel up the California coast and drive along highway 1. His travels remind me of my younger days traveling through the Midwest and mountain west. Maybe Big Sur has rekindled those yearnings again.
