Dorothea Lasky is the author of AWE (Wave Books, 2007) and Black Life (Wave Books, 2010). Her chapbooks includeTourmaline (Transmission Press, 2008), The Hatmaker’s Wife (Braincase Press, 2006), Art (H_NGM_N Press, 2006), and Alphabets and Portraits (Anchorite Press, 2005). She has been educated at Washington University, University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and Harvard University. Currently, she studies creativity and education at the University of Pennsylvania. Kristin Palm grew up in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, and lived in Detroit for many years. She currently resides in San Francisco, California. Her writing has appeared in LVNG, Bird Dog, Boog City, Chain, There, Dusie and the anthologyBay Poetics (Faux Press, 2006), as well as numerous magazines and newspapers, including Metropolis, Planning and the Detroit Metro Times
