Performance: Susana Lei’ataua “Through Windows”
Join Susana Lei’ataua in a dramatic reading of her poem “Through Windows,” which takes us to the winter months after 9/11. The autobiographical poem tells the story of a woman working as a coat checker in uptown Manhattan and living in the East Village. Susana Lei’ataua is part of the Lei’ataua and Taupa’u families in Samoa and a recipient of the Fulbright New Zealand Senior Scholar Award for 2008.
